Topic Bundles
stay one step ahead of learning gaps
Sometimes children get stuck on a certain topic (e.g. fractions, time, punctuation). Our topic bundles are groups of tutorials and supporting work designed for a specific year group and topic, helping to rebuild confidence and understanding in the exact area your child needs.
Particularly in maths where learning is cumulative, it is so important to close gaps so children can continue to build on strong foundations.
Sometimes children may need to revise a specific topic from earlier year groups as gaps go back further.
Not sure what topics your child needs or which year group level? Try our free topic quizzes as a guide to find gaps.

About our Topic Bundles
🌼 Bundles are all individually priced depending upon the number of tutorials within the individual topic area.
🌼 Bundles are specific to each subject (maths or English), and each year group.
🌼 Content become progressively more difficult within each topic area from Year 1 through to Year 6. If your child finds the content from one year group too challenging then we would recommend trying the content from the previous year group. Purchasing another bundle would, however, incur an additional cost. Not sure which Topic Bundles your child needs? Try our free topic quizzes.
Questions about Topic Bundles
Frequently
Asked Questions about Topic Bundles
-
The Topic Bundles are one-off payments. Payment amounts vary depending upon how many tutorials are in a bundle. Each price is clearly shown on each bundle.
-
No — these are one-off purchases, and all the content becomes immediately available, so they are non-refundable.
-
Yes – this is recommended as each tutorial builds on the learning in the previous tutorial so even if you move through certain tutorials faster, always try to complete the 2-star work to make sure this area is secure. Experience shows us that missing out tutorials can lead to children still having insecure foundations and, particularly in maths, this can make future learning more difficult.
-
Absolutely! If your child is learning a particular topic at school, you may want to purchase the bundle for this topic so you can work through this with them at home and give them additional practice, support and confidence. Many families find it useful as a bridge between school and home learning, giving parents more clarity and structure, without being overwhelming. Children too find it builds their confidence to try the same topics at home, at their pace, and feel much more secure in the topics.
NB: Although we use modern teaching methods which we hope are the same as those your child is learning at school, sometimes these can vary slightly.
-
It is important to start a topic where your child feels confident so they rebuild understanding and confidence from this point.
If you find the 1-star work within a topic is too difficult, you may need to drop down to a lower year group for the topic (e.g. If your child is struggling with Year 3 Fractions, try Year 2 Fractions to build back the learning). Children will always learn faster when they start from where they are comfortable and build up. You can always try our short FREE quizzes as a guide to check your child’s level in a topic.

There are a few simple ways to spot where your child may need extra support:
Check your child’s school report or notes from parent-teacher meetings — teachers often highlight specific areas to focus on.
Your child might mention topics they’re finding tricky or frustrating at school.
You may notice gaps in homework, assessments, or general confidence with certain tasks.
Try our free topic quizzes on the website — they’re a quick way to see which levels your child can answer confidently and therefore where they are working.
If you’re using the Refresher Programme, it’s designed to reveal any weaker areas as you work through the topics at a summary level which will direct you to certain topic bundles.
For a clearer picture, we offer a detailed assessment , which identifies learning gaps, current levels across different topic areas with a report and a recommendation for moving forward.
