Frequently
Asked Questions
-
The Curriculum Steps Programme runs as a monthly subscription which you can cancel any time. A new tutorial is released weekly, with assessments at appropriate times along the way.
The Topic Bundles and Refresher Programme is a one-off payment.
-
Yes — you can cancel the Curriculum Steps programme at any time. Just email us and we’ll handle the rest.
However the Topic Bundles and Refresher Programmes are non-refundable as all content is made available immediately.
-
Because each tutorial builds on the last, tutorials must be followed in order and we therefore recommend catching up as soon as you can. If you’re struggling to keep pace, you can switch to ‘Topic Bundles’ and work through just the areas your child needs help with, at your own pace.
If your child is struggling to keep up because the content feels too challenging, we’d suggest starting a lower year group plan to secure the foundations first. We’re happy to transfer your plan or help you run two plans side by side. Just email us at enquiries@tutoryourchild.co.uk or message us for support.
-
If you’re using the Curriculum Steps Programme, we suggest setting aside around an hour a week to stay on track with the weekly tutorial releases. That way, learning feels consistent, never rushed and avoids the pressure of trying to catch up later.
If this is too much, you can always cancel this programme and work through the curriculum by using Topic Bundles.
-
Yes. Some families choose to run two Curriculum Steps programmes (e.g. one to build confidence and one to stretch) .
-
All our programmes are pre-recorded and easy to follow with simple steps and supporting work at 3 levels of challenge so hopefully equipping you with everything you need to support your child at home.
Feedback from parents tells us they find the programme easy to follow and they feel confident.
While we don’t offer live tutoring, we’re always happy to provide advice and guidance at any time via email enquiries@tutoryourchild.co.uk or by sending us a message via our contact form.
-
Absolutely — just email us enquiries@tutoryourchild.co.uk or fill in our contact form if you have questions or want to talk through options before you decide and we can schedule a call to talk through your child.
