Early identification of learning gaps is critical for children’s confidence and new learning. We can provide a comprehensive academic assessment for maths and English, together with a recommended ‘roadmap’ of suggested action moving forward.

The cost of this assessment £160 per subject.

  • The quizzes are very high level but the assessment is much more detailed and looks into all the different maths and English topic areas and give you a complete picture of where their strengths and weaknesses lie and back to what year group of primary learning for each area. We will then provide you with a catch-up plan of what to do to close any gaps and get your child’s learning back on track. We will link this to our ‘Topic Bundles’ to give you an option to use these or you can choose to use your own methods to close gaps.

  • We will contact you by phone and go through the process with you. An assessment usually involves a written assessment paper which we will email to you for you to scan or post back to us. Sometimes we also arrange a ‘Zoom’ session with your child before we then produce a written report and plan for the way forward.

  • We will provide you with a full report of any gaps we find relative to their age expectation. We will also provide you with a plan of what you could do to fill these gaps using our ‘Topic Bundles’ so you will have everything you need to close their gaps.

    Of course, you are not obliged to use our Bundles and may choose to follow our plan in a different way.
