Let us help you tutor your own child at home

Our “Curriculum Steps Programme" supports parents to tutor their child(ren) at home with all the support they need.

Our Reception to Year 6 maths and English programmes follow the National Curriculum requirements and offer sequenced, structured lessons and regular assessments to check children are on track. Our resources are easy-to-follow, making them accessible to all. Whether you’re experienced at tutoring your children, or this is new to you, our programme will support you every step of the way.

🌼 Tutorials are planned to be delivered in a sequential way, gradually building on children’s previous learning, developing confidence and independence.

🌼Our weekly, pre-recorded tutoring videos and printable PDF worksheets at 3-levels of difficulty provide both support and challenge.

About Curriculum
Steps

Subscriptions are debited monthly. New tutorials are released on a Thursday each week and, at the end of a topic, an assessment is also released to see how much your child can remember. We release tutorials every week with the exception of a 2-week break for Christmas and Easter, and 5 weeks for Summer holidays. During these holiday periods, we release an assessment of all content to date to check progress and recall, and over the summer, we pair this with access to the 'Refresher Programme' for the year's content to recap before September.

You can subscribe to the Curriculum Steps Programme at any time throughout the year. If you join later on within a term, you will be able to view content from previous weeks of the term. However, it may put too much pressure on you and your child to try and cover weekly lessons plus the backdated lessons too. In this situation, we recommend you continue the programme from the week you joined and pick up any gaps separately, maybe through 'Topic Bundles'.

Is this the Programme for you? We recommend setting aside around one hour each week per subject to complete the weekly tutorial with your child.

If that feels like too much, our ‘Topic Bundles’ might be a better fit — allowing you to choose specific areas your child needs support with and work through them at your own pace.

You can cancel your subscription for the Curriculum Steps Programme at any time by emailing us at enquiries@tutoryourchild.co.uk

Please note:

- Autumn term content will be removed at the start of the spring term.

- Spring term content will be removed at the start of the summer term.

- Summer term content will be removed two weeks after the end of the summer term.
